Cold Weather Blues: Destinations – St. Thomas USVI

January 5, 2020 / Voyagers' Pen / Leave a comment

Growing up in Southern California I spent so much of my childhood at the beach. Being a redhead, I spent it slathered in sunscreen every couple hours, under the umbrella, fighting my mom about wearing a hat when none of my siblings were forced to, and playing in the surf. I love to swim, body surf, … Continue reading Cold Weather Blues: Destinations – St. Thomas USVI

Needing a Vacation from Vacation? Do less!

October 13, 2019October 18, 2019 / Voyagers' Pen / Leave a comment

Cramming so much into a short time can leave us feeling drained. It happens to everyone. With that said, returning from an amazing trip can result in that "I need a vacation from my vacation" feeling. Which is why we often choose to have a buffer day--or more if you're like Katie and I--to recover … Continue reading Needing a Vacation from Vacation? Do less!

Attention, Readers

We’re two writers who took on the Emerald Isle and Caledonia. Some months later, we marched the cobblestone pavements of Boston and Salem. Katie, then, ventured solo to London! After a year off, we are brainstorming the next endeavor for the new decade. The Voyagers assure you every little tidbit is on here! It’s just that there’s still a bit of a tech learning curve.

As writers, we are also readers. Readers of everything we can get our hands on. From historical fiction to creative non-fiction, we find inhalation at every turn. After graduating from The Ohio State University, both of us with a B.A. in English & Creative Writing, we were looking for our next great escapade. With our wanderlust natures, it’s instinctive that all our readings instill a strong desire to visit the places we touched only in our reader minds. And thus, our little blog of documenting adventures has been born! Join us on our next big adventure as we drift towards uncharted territory!
